Samhain

Samhain is a threshold into Winter Season. It is known as the doorway into the Giamos (dark) half of the year when the feminine principle becomes dominant. The energies of Samhain are death, darkness, destruction, decline and disillusion.

Often a dreaded time of the year and a dreaded rhythm in our society, because it moves us towards slower, darker, more inward oriented ways. The living intelligence is one of darkness and death, teaching us the power, pain, grief and need to retract from the external world, demands, and forces.

Together we will explore the wisdom of Samhain in our current rhythms of life, move with the intelligence of the season and nourish ourselves through community.
