Harvest Festival
Lughnasa

The movement is one of gathering.

Lughnasa is the threshold into the Autumn Season. It is known for the ripeness, abundance and celebration of the harvest. There is both joy and sadness woven into the sacrifice, the hard work. The energies of Lughnasa are ripeness, plenitude, assembling, appreciation, joy, pleasure, raucous celebration and exuberance.

Often missed in our society as the piling to-do list never looks back at the accomplishment. The rhythm of Lughnasa reminds us the intelligence in celebrating beauty, fertility, ripeness and the juices of appreciation.

Together we will explore the wisdom of Lughnasa in our current rhythms of life, move with the intelligence of the season and nourish ourselves through community.
